PowerNavigation will let you use your Bluetooth GPS receiver in connection with your smartphone for all kinds of navigation tasks as effectively as possible. You can use custom maps with the help of the freeware MapEditor. It will also let you watch direction, movement speed, level of GPS signal and satellites' monitoring, record the passed way, create waypoints, tracks and different sound events.
PowerNavigation has five views: Track view, Navigation view, GPS info view, Information view and Settings view.
In Track view you can perform navigation along a map, POIs, a track, a route and waypoints. You can also create and edit routes and calibrate a map. The layout is customisable: Details like coordinates, altitude, speed, heading and scale are selectable; controls for zoom and sticky. Tracks can be activated, saved and deleted. A track player shows the way along the saved track. Points of interest (POI) can be created, searched and viewed with additional info.
In Navigation view the graphic compass and detailed customisable information are shown: coordinates, altitude, speed, and the distance. Navigation can be shown for waypoints, routes and bearing.
GPS info view offers: Latitude/Longitude, Altitude, DOP - Delusion Of Precision, status (2D/3D/not valid;), SNR - Signal-To-Noise Ratio; satellite numbers and positions;
In Information view you can view a speed or altitude chart with some written detail information like altitude, speed, average speed, track length and position accuracy.
